Tisch New Theatre

Given the structure of Tisch academic disciplines, there is a pressing need for a participatory theater outlet for non-Drama majors. Tisch New Theatre meets this need, and allows students to work in all facets of the theater, including management, direction, production, and other technical and artistic aspects. The club is open and available to all students at NYU (including Drama), but is targeted at non-Drama majors in Tisch who wish to pursue theater as an extracurricular enhancement to their academic training. Tisch New Theatre will hold one fully student-driven production each year, along with master classes, staged readings of new student works and other theater events.
