From Poet to Producer

Patti Cassidy has always been a writer- as a poet and fiction writer, then a freelancer. The transition from freelancer to playwright began on the Mexican border when she wrote a play on a dare for the local high school. It was a smash success. She never got over it. She broadened her scope to write, produce and direct several short documentaries, and then discovered producing local TV. Today, she's combined her passion for theater, TV and writing in developing Boston Play Café.
