Amy Berkhoudt grew up in Maui, Hawaii and graduated with B.A. in Journalism and Philosophy from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, California in 2009 and a M.A. in Educational Policy and Leadership from the University of Michigan in 2013. Between degrees, Amy enthusiastically moved to Detroit as an 11th grade English at Cesar Chavez Academy High School in Southwest Detroit. Today, Amy is the Executive Director of Programs for the Detroit Food Academy.
