Legal History in Canada

On June 24th I was found to be in contempt of a judges order. I was one of many to attend a protest on the CN Tracks that pass through Aamjiwnaang, my First Nation. The ordering Judge was a former CN Lawyer and had served as an expert witness for CN in The US. AS REQUESTED BY THE Hearing Judge I purged myself of that contempt but not only abandoning the protest but by getting the other Warriors to also end the protest. For my commitment to the order I was fined over $16,000.00.
