<p>Mango Fandango Productions consists of:</p> <p>Charlotte R Hamlyn <br /> (writer/director)<br /> Charlotte directed her first film at the age of just 17. The film “Mona” was the recipient of an Australian Film Commission grant and was accepted into numerous festivals, gaining a number of nominations and awards. In 2008 “Mona” won Best Youth Film at the “St Kilda Film Festival” (The Oscars of Short film in Australia) making Charlotte the youngest director to ever win an award at the prestigious festival. The film won a number of other awards and Charlotte even collected a nomination for “Best Young Australian Director” at Byron Bay International Film Festival when she was only 18. Since then Charlotte has written/directed another short film called “Smoking Kills Fairies” which is now due for release. She has also worked as a production designer on 10 Short films and TVC’s over the past year. She took all opportunities to gain Production Design experience in order to ready herself for her next short film “Miss Transylvania”, the art department intensive, glittery-beauty-pageant-spectacular-spectacular.</p> <p>David Robert Thring (Producer/Actor)<br /> David comes from a vast performance background. He holds a Bachelor of American Theatre Arts, Bachelor of Arts (Drama/Screen Studies) and a Master of Marketing. He has worked as an actor both in Australia and in the United Kingdom. David began his producing career with “Mona,” a multi award winning short which screened at St Kilda Film Festival among many others. In 2008 David starred in a number of local theatre productions and produced his latest film “Smoking Kills Fairies”.</p> <p>Nima Nabili Rad<br /> (Director of Photography)<br /> Nima Nabili Rad is an award winning Australian Cinematographer. Since his arrival as an Iranian Refugee in Australia in 1996, Nima has developed a passion for cinema, filmmaking and cinematography in particular. With an emphasis on beauty and creativity within the visual cinematic narrative, Nima’s work has a unique look and rich visual ideas. Nima’s cinematographic experience includes genres such as Short Film, TV Commercial, Music Video and documentary. Nima has also been involved in projects on a professional capacity and his work has had considerable airtime on national Television. The beauty of Nima’s visual contribution to projects has been acknowledged several times during the past few years including consecutive Gold awards at the Australian Cinematographers Society</p>
