Hi, I'm Joy Young, Phoenix's only circus-poet. I love teaching workshops and doing what I can to support the arts scene here in Phoenix--which usually means helping people's voices be heard. I'm interested in art and storytelling with a strong emphasis on social justice. I've been on a national slam team where I made semi-final stage in 2013, have won some slams and hold some titles for my poetry in the Phoenix area.
