About Me:

I am a 23 year old with a desire to own and operate a coffee shop with my speciality coffee drinks and gourmet appetizers. I am goal oriented and energetic with a passion for coffee and people.

I have a strong background in coffee as a barista for a well known coffee chain in Washington for four years. I have taken coffee seminars and courses with a first class Northwest coffee roaster. We covered every aspect of the coffee process from the bean to the roating process. New brewing techniques were introduced as well as new cutting edge drinks. The broad drinkline in Seattle will be new and innovative to California. There will be very little competition since they currently do not offer many of the options we wil.

The annual "coffece Fest" seminars and workshops are an industry must. It is a three day workshop in Seattle that introduces new coffee trends and product. Venders, roasters, and store owners come facilitate workshops and a product fair. Everything from coffee art to leases and build out costs are covered.

I am excited to create a business serving the beverages and appetizers Seattle is known for. My family and I moved to California to start a new life and business venture. We all have a passion for people and are ready to engage a new community and call it home. After the economic decline in the real estate & construction industry, our loss of income had a devasting effect on our family. We eventually lost our home and decided it was time to re-invent ourselves. We pulled together as a family and asked God " where do we start" We had talked about starting a coffee shop, but the market was so saturated in the Northwest. Where God was closing doors in Washington, new ones are opening in California, we felt it was time for a change.

Our strong background in church and community will keep us engaged in local events and activities. We have a long history in Girl Scouts volunteering and created one of the larger summer camps for kids. We are excited to connect with our new community and sponser youth in teams an activities.

Our vision is to create speciality drinks in a fun, inviting coffeehouse. Our desire is to restore our family dream: To make a good living, give back to the community, and create new relationships with local residents and college students. Thank You.
