<span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 11px; line-height: 15px; ">Born in Saigon, Tuyen came to England as a baby with her mother and father and six older siblings to escape the communist regime in Vietnam. She studied at Drama Studio London, going on to further hone her craft at the London's Meisner training studio, the Actors’ Temple.<br><br>The past few years has seen her play a diverse range of roles in exciting independent shorts such as Cross Your Fingers (festival selected film including LLGFF 2011) and My Dad the Communist (Winner of the London Short Film Audience Award 2010). She has also played many leading stage roles and is a skilled improviser, something she uses to great advantage in script development as well as in her own writing. <br><br>Tuyen is a graduate of the Royal Court's 2011 Unheard Voices playwriting scheme and, on the strength and quality of her writing, was invited to become a member of their studio group. She has also had her short film script selected and developed by B3 Media and BBC Writers Room.</span><br>
