David Wilner

Consumer Advocate

David Wilner is a retired telecommunications expert with an extensive background in radio frequency (RF) applications. He was involved in the military Nike ground air missile defense system, and received training in radar technology, guidance systems as well as communications. In the 1970s, he founded Consumers' Lobby Against Monopolies (CLAM) to challenge unlawful conduct by public utilities, and worked with other consumer groups including People's Lobby and the Environmental Defense Fund.
