Halloween Show Creator/Barebones Co-Founder/Project Director

Alison Heimstead created the Halloween Show while at the University of Minnesota. She went on to co-found Barebones and lay the foundation for the community event it is today. Alison has a Masters in Puppetry and Theatrical Design from Cal Arts and is the performing curator at In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre where she runs Puppet Lab, a program for development of new puppet Theater. This fall Alison returns to co-direct the 20th Anniversary Halloween Show.
