Jessica Schiermeister

I am currently working on the completion of a Master of Fine Arts degree in Shakespeare and Performance (emphasis in dramaturgy) through Mary Baldwin College. I also hold a Master of Letters (MLitt) of the same title. I am part of the Mary Baldwin MFA theatre company Rogue Shakespeare. I am the recipient of the 2013 Andrew Gurr Award for Outstanding Thesis for my MLitt thesis “‘Youth in Petticoats’: the Early Modern Boy Actor, the All-Male Stage, and Female Performance."
