My name is Leticia Boahen and I am a mother of 2 and a resident of the Jane and Finch Community. I wanted a fitness program that was affordable and accessible. Thanks to Canadian Association for the Advancement of Women and Sport and Physical Activity (CAAWS) - We received a small grant that allowed us to pay for childcare and instructor to start the Mother's In Motion Fitness. We partnered with Parks and Rec and Black Creek Community Health Centre and we now are approaching our second year.
