I was diagnosed with cancer at 17. In 2010, I wrote ‘Would You Like Your Cancer?', the story of my journey through cancer and recovery. My story has made it's way across Canada, the United States, India, Ireland & the Czech Republic. I've been honoured to speak at a number of Canadian Cancer Society events. This year, I was named one of 22 inspiring individuals on Patient Commando’s list of ‘Canadian Women Changing Healthcare’, for sharing my story and helping to change the patient perspective.
