Joni Nowak RN is a published author and accomplished artist when she isn’t saving lives as a seasoned critical care nurse. She is also the owner of the Lakewood Learning Center where lay and highly trained rescuers come to learn the basics of CPR & more advanced skills. Recently, she decided to write a series of children's books; "Sebastian's Safety Series". The main character is a 'slug' named Sebastian.
