What we do in life, echoes in eternity.

I grew up in the wine country, west Sonoma County. I've always been drawn to the arts. When I was a kid I used to create different characters and pretend to be somebody else. I let my imagination run wild, and I think that\'s what attracted me to film.

As a spectator of cinema, we are able to suspend our reality and see new worlds through unique perspectives, analogous to our dreams. Being able to teleport to fantastical lands, such as \"Star Wars\" or \"Wizard of Oz\", was a way to escape from the monotony of everyday life.

My background in photography has also influenced my filmmaking. I currently work as an SF Giants Event photographer. I tend to think in pictures and put emphasis on visual storytelling. I often show actions rather than dialogue to reveal subtle nuances in characters. Deeper meaning is found in the subtext of interaction.

I earned a BA in Film and Digital Media from UC Santa Cruz. I\'ve made over a dozen short films (both fiction and documentary) and have worn various hats (director, cinematographer, editor, etc.)
I also acted in theatre productions, and have continued to practice acting in theatre, film and television in the bay area. Having been on both sides of the camera, I realize the pressures actors face, along with those of being behind the camera.
