She has worked at various design studios across the UK, the BBC and as a freelance animator since graduating from the University of Lincoln in 2007 with a 1</span></font><sup><font face="Arial, sans-serif"><span lang="en-US">st</span></font></sup><font face="Arial, sans-serif"><span lang="en-US"> Class degree in Animation. </span></font><p style="margin-bottom: 0cm"> </p> <p style="margin-bottom: 0cm" lang="en-US"><br> </p> <p style="margin-bottom: 0cm" lang="en-US"><font face="Arial, sans-serif">In 2010, Jessica was short-listed as a participant of the Scottish Digital Shorts scheme – a scheme dedicated to developing the projects of emerging filmmakers. Here she wrote her first professional short animated film, Fixing Luka, developed and produced with Glasgow based production company, DigiCult. </font> </p> <p style="margin-bottom: 0cm" lang="en-US"><br> </p> <p style="margin-bottom: 0cm" lang="en-US"><font face="Arial, sans-serif">The film has since shown at festivals worldwide and picked up several awards and nominations, including a New Talent BAFTA award and Limelight Film and Arts Awards. </font> </p> <br> <p style="margin-bottom: 0cm" lang="en-US"><font face="Arial, sans-serif">Jessica is currently developing a short film with B3 Media, working on freelance projects and developing work as part of an emerging collective, tentatively named ‘That Lovely Lot’, with like-minded creatives.</font></p>
