A professional musician since my teens, when I was in high school a group recorded 2 of my songs on a major label, and I opened for nationally touring artists, like Linda Ronstadt & the Stone Poneys, I joined a NJ band that essentially later evolved into Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band. That band, the Gift, got to jam onstage with Jimi Hendrix (the coolest 20 minutes of my life) and others. I'm writing 2 books now, both on eras of pop music history, & and I'm in a folk-pop band Long Road.
