Gigi Saul Guerrero, February 27th, 1990<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> Born and raised in MÃ©xico City, Mexico, Gigi moved to Vancouver, British Columbia at the age of 13 with her family.  She enjoys the diversity of Canada, but never forgets her Latin roots! Gigi has always held a passion for entertaining, whether it being acting or storytelling. Her favorite is telling stories filled with blood and gore! <o:p></o:p> Gigi is strongâ€minded and a perfectionist, but she knows how to have fun on set by cracking jokes with all the departments, keeping the mood lightâ€hearted on set.  Her recent success was directing one of the final projects at Capilano University, titled â€œNext Door Nightmareâ€, which was accepted into the Okanagan Film Festival (OFF)! She also co-wrote, directed and starred in the zombie short â€œDead Crossingâ€, which won 3rd place at the Rioâ€™s Dead On Film festival in Vancouver, and made it into Whistlerâ€™s B-Grade Horrofest Festival and now it just got accepted into Seattle's NFFTY 2012! Her most recent success was coming in 4th place at the Virgin Radio Film Festival (2012), where she re-created [REC] in 60 Seconds.<o:p></o:p> Inspired by her culture, Gigi is a big fan of the â€œ3 Amigosâ€ directors (CuarÃ³n, GonzÃ¡lez IÃ±Ã¡rritu ,and del Toro), as well as the quirky and visually stunning films of Quentin Tarantino, Robert Rodriguez, and Rob Zombie.  She wants to make it in the industry as an actor and/or director, but most importantly she wants to be a part of the creative process of telling a visual story, which is where her passion resides: making movies.
