A scholar of Japanese literature and a writer, I was thrown into the world of tech marketing in Tokyo after finishing my MA and deciding an academic career was not in the cards. The combination of academic and corporate experience led me to realize that much of the culture that surrounds us has its root in the products we buy and use. After several years in the rat race, I had not lost my passion for Japanese culture, and started Matcha Latte Media in order to make available to the world the cultural products of Japan.
