After Finley - Sparkles in the Sadness

On August 2nd 2009 Finley John Scott was born. He is my son, he changed my life, but sadly I will never know him. Finley was born forever asleep, after becoming distressed during labour at full term.

After Finley was born, I was able to spend 3 days in hospital with him and my husband, making heartbreaking memories which we now treasure. We were able to have him blessed, bathe and dress him, give him presents and our family met him.

When I left the hospital I began writing. After Finley is now available as a book at www.lulu.com

I also began to use my skills as an Occupational Therapist and teacher to support parents through a similar loss, and working to inspire professionals to good standards of aftercare nationwide.
