<p>Tranzmission Prison Project is a volunteer run organization that works to support LGBTQQIA (Lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex and a-sexual) prisoners nationwide.We offer books, zines, information, resources and pen pals. We fully believe that EVERY member of our fabulous community deserves access to support. As allies, we strive to let incarcerated LGBTQQIA folks know that just because they are out of sight does not mean they are out of mind.&nbsp;</p> <p>As an organization we believe that structure of prison inherently oppresses and isolates integral members of our queer community. We hold workshops on LGBTQQIA prisoner realities with the intention of enhancing visibility and raising awareness.</p>
