I am an arts activist and grassroots freelance community developer.I first went to Gambia 20 years ago and met my husband Sini Njoba in a Batik dye shop .We both had dreams of establishing community arts projects that helped the local communities we lived in.Barra in Gambia has many challenges as well as being on a beautiful unspoilt coastline,except for the rubbish.We have developed a beautiful centre and it is time to tackle the rubbish problem in a sustainable way for all of Barra to benefit
