<p class="yiv1572907705msonormal" style="margin:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt; text-indent:.5in;line-height:200%;background:white"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;line-height:200%;font-family:Arial;color:black">I am a music educator and I plan to advance music in America by making sure I teach my students efficiently and effectively by making sure that they understand the language of music in all aspects and can pass that gift down to other individuals as well. While pursuing this career I would also like to start my own Brass Quintet that would feature baroque and contemporary classical music as well as start my own Brass Band and play other styles contemporary music. Although I am striving to become a Music Educator my career plans include playing for a world renowned symphony orchestra as the Principal Tubist which has been my dream since I start playing the Tuba. Through out my years of High School and College I have participated in and received various Honors and Activities such as: John Philip Sousa Award, Outstanding Classical Musician, Best Senior Brass Player, Best Junior Brass Player, Outstanding Physics Student, Outstanding Math Student,<span class="apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span>Outstanding Scholar of Alpha Phi Alpha, Outstanding Senior, Outstanding Instrumentalist of Omega Psi Phi, Outstanding Section Leader, Outstanding Merit Award, Outstanding Classical Musician, Section Leader of the Year, Outstanding sophomore, National Honor Society, HUSEM (<span class="yshortcuts">Howard University</span><span class="apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span>Science, Engineering, and Mathematics Program), Marching Band (High School &amp; College), Jazz Band (High School &amp; College), Pep Band (High School &amp; College),Symphonic Band (High School),Concert Band (High School &amp; College), Catholic University’s Orchestra, The Washington Metropolitan Philharmonic, and the Kappa Kappa Psi &amp; Tau Beta Sigma National Intercollegiate band. I possess strengths and skills such as being a hard worker, and I am very determined to accomplish my goals regardless what I set in front of me, and I am a leader. I often take on a leadership roles without being ask because I believe true leaders are not thrown into a position they rise up and accept any given task regardless of what fate holds of them.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
