ELISA PEEBLES is a scholar, writer, activist, performer and content producer originally from Buffalo, NY. She moved to New York City for college and received a B.S. in Media, Culture and Communication Studies from NYU’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development and a minor in Producing from the Tisch School of the Arts. Peebles co-produced the SXSW, Frameline and NewFest selected short film Natives, and also aided with publicity for the film Noor, winner of the muhr for Best
