<p>EMMH has provided services for Indian people and communities since 1984.&nbsp; Its goal is to preserve traditional native lifeways and enhance families ability to prosper in their own communities.</p> <p>EMMH accomplishes this by working directly in the communities they serve - to keep them viable places in which to live.&nbsp; EMMH, as well, has area, regional and national programs.&nbsp;</p> <p>Many Indian people find it difficult to pass traditions from generation to generation while life is so difficult.&nbsp; Our people and projects "help each other" by making good ways to keep&nbsp;ancient cultural values while enhancing communities abilities to maintain their viability.&nbsp; Many of our projects are designed to enhance pride and leadership within youth.</p>
