<p>Lara Cassidy is well-known as a leader in the television and film industry in Nova Scotia, Canada. In 1991 she created The Cassidy Group Talent and Model Agency, which soon became (and still is) one of Eastern Canada’s leading agencies. Under Lara’s tutelage, performers with The Cassidy Group found themselves cast in principle roles in projects such as Queer as Folk, Two If by Sea, Dolores Claiborne, Titanic, The Shipping News, K-19: The Widowmaker, White Chicks and Scary Movie 4. Cassidy’s models found themselves in all of the major fashion cities including; New York, London, Paris and Milan.</p> <p>In 1996, Lara directed her first video for Bravo! Television, which quickly soared to number one on the charts. Her directing career was born! Lara moonlighted heavily as a music video director until 2002, when she left The Cassidy Group to form Curve Productions Inc. with creative partners Steve Richard and Chris Pauley. Since then Lara has produced, directed, edited and / or written projects in every format and genre.</p> <p>In their commercial division Curve Productions has attracted both national and international clients. Their recent Cable Bahama’s Television and Print campaigns was nominated in the category of “Best Multicultural Advertising” at the international CableFax Faxies Awards. The Curve Productions campaign is one of only six nominated and is in the prestigious company of Turner Marketing and Cox Cable Networks..</p>
