J.R. Curry

<h2>Personal Life</h2> <p>J.R. Curry is a film director based out of Phoenix, Az. He was born in Stonybrook, New York and grew up in Arizona. Born on April 8, 1988, J.R. grew up loving films.</p> <p>As a child, he was always fascinated by moving pictures. J.R. graduated high school and didn't know what he was going to do with his life. It was not until halfway through his schooling at Arizona State, that he knew what his real calling was...... Film.</p> <h2>Education</h2> <p>J.R. graduated in May 2011 with his BA in filmmaking at Arizona State University. After graduating with his Bachelor's degree, J.R. wanted to further his filmmaking education and applied to the New York Film Academy in Universal Studios at Universal City, California.</p> <p>While attending the New York Film Academy, J.R. has worked with numerous cameras, lights and actors. Cameras ranging from the Arri-SR 16mm, Arri-SR-2 16mm, DVX 100, HMC 150, Canon 5D mark ii, Canon 5D mark ii, and the 35mm Panavision camera.</p>
