Hi everyone! My name is Jason Huls. I'm an MFA student at DePaul university in Digital Cinema. To date, I have completed one feature-length film and a multitude of shorts. Aside from narrative work, I have shot weddings, corporate events, and marketing videos. By day, I'm a video producer at a university in Chicago's western suburbs. I have won two Telly awards for my work there. I'm also President of Ten Wing Films, a company dedicated to producing high quality narrative and documentary films. Check us out sometime at tenwingfilms.com. We'll leave the light on for ya.The next thing on my plate is a thesis film. It's a dark, gritty sci-fi story set on a desolate planet. It's called CITIZEN IN THE TEMPLE. Preproduction will run from December 2010 to April 2011. Production starts in late Spring 2011. Other things I like: matters of international intrigue, weird science, Tom Waits, Tool, Leonard Cohen, the great outdoors, and zombies. I'm a fan of the horror and science fiction genres. Two of my favorite directors are John Carpenter and Jean-Pierre Jeunet. In my free time, I seek ancient wisdom. I'm into playing guitar, writing stories, poems, film projects, travel, mystery, and meeting new people...and that's all before 9 a.m.
