<p>Hello!</p> <p>I am thrilled and humbled by being elected Artistic Director of Portland Actors Ensemble.&nbsp; Taking the reins of the longest continuously operating theatre company in the area is a truly challenging endeavour, and I am confident that with the help of our all-volunteer board that we will thrust PAE into new heights of artistry and accessibility.</p> <p>In my first season as Artistic Director, we will be starting off with a bang!&nbsp; First up is <em>Hamlet</em> in a truly unexpected performance environment.&nbsp; Bruce Hostetler, formerly of OSF, directs.&nbsp; This is our 43rd year, and our first time ever doing Hamlet!&nbsp; What a way to start my tenure!</p> <p>The very popular <em>Twelfth Night</em> is our 2012 traveling show.&nbsp; We'll be bringing the twins, the clowns, and Malvolio to a park near you.</p> <p>What a great way to get off on the right foot!</p> <p>Good Will for all!</p> <p>Michael Godsey</p>
