I'm a 31 year old native midwesterner in the great continent of North America. When I was 19, I moved to China by myself to study Mandarin. What was supposed to be a 6 month crash course in the language turned out to be nearly a decade of my life. In 2007 I took over an art space in Guangzhou, which I'm currently still involved in, and in 2011 I opened another space in Rock Island, IL (USA) with my mother. I hop between these two spaces, spending the majority of my time in Rock Island.
