Alexis is a New York-based theatre director. Her interests reside in physical work that explores the boundaries between the ordinary and the extraordinary. She earned a B.A. in theatre and completed her thesis in directing at Barnard College, for which she directed Federico Garcia Lorca’s The Love of Don Perlimplín and Belisa in the Garden. Her most recent directing project was Shapes Like Things, A Soup Play by Emily Sorensen, which she coproduced in the NYC Fringe, 2016.
