<p>Hi! I&rsquo;m a Singer/Songwriter &amp; a self-funded creative independent. Born in India, raised in Dubai, I think, sleep, eat, breathe my pursuit of music. &nbsp;</p> <p class="p1">In the last few years, my creative work has been the consequence of this pursuit. And on many levels, I believe I am a consequence of this pursuit.&nbsp;</p> <p class="p1">Being an independent artist has meant being one&rsquo;s own manager, pep-talker, marketeer and a professional hustler. Honing those skills along the way, I&rsquo;ve played two European tours gigging in various venues and live music nights in the UK, France &amp; Germany, all by my lonesome, doing everything from bagging the gigs to performing and promoting.</p> <p class="p2">In Dubai, where I currently live, I've performed at numerous venues and festivals. To mention a few, Fortlom @ Music Room, The Fridge Concert Series, Art Nights @ DIFC, Dubai Sound City, The Chill Out Festival, Dubomedy Festival, Pecha Kucha, Quint@the Fridge, The Middle East Film Festival along with TV performances on Dubai One&rsquo;s 20Something, the breakfast show on MBC, and also belted some tunes live on the radio.&nbsp;</p> <p class="p2">Between the tours, and other musical shenanigans, I released my first EP in 2009 named &lsquo;Disengage,&rsquo; produced by Reiner Erlings, contributed to the background score of feature film 'City of Life,' the first film to be entirely produced within the UAE and collaborated with some of the most talented musicians from the region. One of my projects that is currently under production is a massive multi-disciplinary showcase of my music supported by a Philharmonic Orchestra, and brings together over 100 musicians and artists. Involved heavily in everything from composition for the 60-piece orchestra, band, choir to conceptualizing with the visual department, design, marketing and finances, this project has taught me a lot about the industry of putting one's art out there and discovering my voice as an artist.&nbsp;</p> <p class="p2">After the release of my most recent single 'Champion of Broken Hearts' which received the highest rating of any unsigned artist by RollingStone ME, I am currently prepping to record my first full-length album. With the support of many amazing people and true faith that taking a chance on myself, and working really hard will come to fruition, I set out on a new phase of this journey.&nbsp;</p>
