Cakalak Thunder is a radical street band located here in Greensboro, NC that helps to amplify stories of struggle, protest against all forms of injustice, and raising up celebrations of love, hope, as well as cultures of resistance and transformation. We are in the process of planning our 10th Anniversary in April 2014. We also like long walks on the beach, which parallels our love of movement building, drumming in the rain, and potlucking meeting items.
