<p>Karmic Courage Productions (KCP) mission is to create short and feature films for distribution and release. KCP's constant goals throughout production is to create inspirational films which showcase realistic and positive female role models that are commercially exploitable to a wide range of audiences.&nbsp;</p> <p>KCP has produced 13 projects since 2005. All of them independently financed.&nbsp;<em>Ing&eacute;nue</em>&nbsp;is the first feature film to be produced by Karmic Courage.&nbsp;</p> <p>KCP is owned and operated by Kate Chaplin. Chaplin is an award-winning producer, director and writer. She has been called "A Naptown Notable Resident" by InTake Magazine, "A Powerful Woman Creating a Scene" by the Indy Star and "One of the Most Talented Writers Today" by the Writers' Page. Chaplin is sought after to work on independent film productions as a Script Supervisor, Assistant Director or Production Assistant. She is a guest speaker at many film festivals and conventions to talk about scriptwriting and filmmaking. She has worked for VH1, CMT, MTV, and the Discovery Channel.
