Samantha Blanchard is co-founder and has been artistic director of Eclipse Dance Theater since 1995. With Eclipse, she has presented, produced and toured ten evening-length works both nationally and internationally. Eclipse was the recipient of the Vision Series 2000 award for Outstanding Use of Text and received two grants by Zellerbach Family Fund 1999 & 2000. Their mission aims to collide performing arts genres to create cutting-edge feminist perspectives of theatrical experience.
