Marcy Hessling O'Neil

Anthropologist and Ethnographer

Marcy is an anthropologist who has lived in five countries on four continents. She conducted research on higher education in Benin, West Africa with a Fulbright IIE fellowship, and earned a Ph.D. in Socio-Cultural Anthropology from Michigan State University. One of Marcy's primary talents is the ability to start conversations with just about anyone she meets - a talent she has inherited from her mother. Marcy also enjoys making a mess in the kitchen, and sharing the spoils with family.
