I am a poet and teaching artist from Chapel Hill, NC. As co-founder and current Youth Outreach Coordinator of the Sacrificial Poets; a youth poetry organization that provides youth safe spaces to empower themselves, I am working to sustain and develop a culture of community, gratitude and acceptance through story sharing. In a world that is constantly living in fear and stereotypes, I believe in breaking silence in order to reclaim, remember and reshape ourselves and our world.
