<p>I work each day to make things make more sense.&nbsp;<br /><br />My organization focuses on reigniting the desire for the local, the warm feeling of a trusted neighborhood, where there are homes with unlocked doors. Where everyone you pass knows not just your name but your favorite ice cream flavor. Where social service and awareness and caring aren't lauded as exceptional, but commonplace.&nbsp;<br /><br />The Relay Foundation is building, with the help of youth across the San Francisco Bay Area, a new 'normal'.</p>
