To donate, visit www.indiegogo.com/islandfringe

About Us:
We love theatre. We love PEI. Those two things are what sparked the Island Fringe Festival. Having been involved in local theatre for years, we've seen the incredible amount of talent on the Island. We've also seen how difficult it can be to mount your own production.

With that in mind, we're creating a Festival which gives local artists a chance create and perform new work. We also want to give other Canadian and International theatre companies a chance to bring their shows to PEI and make connections with Island artists.

As a site-specific festival, we’ll be creating venues out of pre-existing, non-theatrical spaces. For example, if a show is about a school, why not stage it in a classroom and have the audience sitting at desks, as though they were students? One of the main goals of the Festival is to get the community involved. By staging the shows in pre-existing, local spaces, it’s an opportunity to honour what we have while celebrating the creation of something new.

What We Need & What You Get

Our goal is to raise $5,000 from donations. That money will go towards renting venues, publicity, the printing of programs, and paying our fees to the Canadian Association of Fringe Festivals.

And wait! There are perks!

Every person who helps sponsor the Island Fringe Festival is automatically listed as a Sponsor of the Festival in our program. For a full list of perks, which include Festival Passes for the Island Fringe which get you into every show for free, as well as free ad space for your business or a personal message, check out the donation information on our .

The Impact

The reason we wanted to create the Island Fringe Festival was to make it more accessible for artists to put of shows. In order to do that, we need the community's support. The reason we've created an Indiegogo page is to show that every person counts, as does every contribution.

Other Ways You Can Help
Just because you can’t contribute, it doesn’t mean you can’t help! Help us spread the word about the Island Fringe Festival and our Indiegogo campaign! And if you're interested in being a Festival Volunteer, shoot us an email at islandfringe@gmail.com

Thanks for you support and we look forward to seeing you at the Festival!

To donate, visit www.indiegogo.com/islandfringe

For more info, visit our website at www.islandfringe.tumblr.com
You can also follow us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/islandfringe and Twitter at @IslandFringe
