I grew up in a Christian home and ventured from that lifestyle as a high school teenager, but began to find my way back into a Christian lifestyle after I met my wife, Nina. Most of my personal work is driven by my faith. I’ve volunteered my talents to nonprofit organizations including Mobile Loaves and Fishes and Gateway Church. My volunteer work, including the Ghana project, is my way of giving back to God for the talents he has given me.

I studied photography at Austin Community College in the areas of commercial and product advertising and have worked in the photography industry since 2006. Since graduating in 2010, I have managed Photography Shoppe, located in Austin, Texas, and helped grow the company to become the largest wedding and portrait photography studio in Central Texas. In addition to photographing clients, I manage the studio, which has taught me valuable skills in planning, making goals, organization, and assigning tasks. These lessons have helped me organize my own personal projects and create a plan of action for the Ghana Christian Mission Trip. I would like my videos to show others how they can help make life a little better for someone else, especially for others who live in extreme poverty in other parts of the world. Ultimately I would like my work to move people into altruism and selflessness.
