He wrote the book <a href="http://www.theedgeofnever.com/" target="_blank"><em>Th</em><em>e Edge of Never</em></a>, and was the writer, director and executive producer of the Showtime Networks 2009 documentary feature film <em><a href="http://www.edgeofneverfilm.com/" target="_blank">The Edge of Never</a>.</em> He co-produced and was second unit director of the 2007 Sony Classics film <a href="http://www.sonyclassics.com/steep/" target="_blank"><em>Steep</em></a>. In addition to producing for CBS, ABC and Fox Sports, he co-produced, wrote and was second-unit director of <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0163764/combined" target="_blank"><em>Net Worth</em></a>, a 1999 Blockbuster Entertainment feature film starring Daniel Baldwin.</p> <p><a href="http://www.readytoflyfilm.com/" target="_blank"><em>Ready To Fly </em></a>is Kerig's current project and is a documentary feature film about World Ski Jumping Champion Lindsey Van who is thrust into a fight that&rsquo;s far bigger than her dreams, larger than ski jumping or even sport. She becomes the reluctant hero as she and her ad hoc women&rsquo;s ski jumping family battle entrenched attitudes and seemingly omnipotent gatekeepers to prove that women deserve to compete at the highest level: in the Winter Olympics.</p> <p>Kerig is the President of <a href="http://www.saltminestoryworks.com/" target="_blank">Salt Mine Storyworks</a>, a small creative company that builds great films and Internet applications. Salt Mine believes that a good, well-told story is the most powerful force in the world.</p>
