Albert DeGenova is a prize-winning poet, editor, teacher, and blues saxophonist. He is the author of two books of poetry, The Blueing Hours and Back Beat; and three chapbooks, A Tender Spot, Postcards to Jack, and A Good Hammer. A new collection, Black Pearl, will be published in the fall of 2016 by Purple Flag press. In June of 2000 he launched the literary/arts journal After Hours, for which he continues as publisher and editor. DeGenova received his MFA in Writing from Spalding University.
