<p>force/collision is an interdisciplinary ensemble of artists whose mission of the creation of new performance work. &nbsp;</p> <p>force/collision was launched in August 2011 from the Cultural Development Corporation funded "Collapsing Silence" - an experimental dance/theatre work which premiered at the 2011 Source Theatre Festival in Washington, D.C. &nbsp;Ensemble members include Karin Rosnizeck, Frank Britton, Dane Figueroa Edidi, Ilana Faye Silverstein, Daniel Paul Lawson, Collin Ranney, Joshua Sticklin and John Moletress. &nbsp;</p> <p>force/collision has read new work at the Kennedy Center by Erik Ehn. &nbsp;Their first full production was "The Nautical Yards", a large-scale site specific dance/theatre performance in the historical Washington Navy Yard in April 2012 - funded in part by the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, funded in part by the National Endowment for the Arts. &nbsp;</p> <p>Their next project, the world premiere of "Shape" will be performed at Atlas Performing Arts Center September 20-October 6 and then move to La MaMa ETC in NYC in November 2012. &nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
