<p>Born and raised in Spain, Beatriz Gutierrez found her passion for film in traveling. By discovering other cultures, and the qualities that make them unique, Bea discovered a need to capture the infinitely wide spectrum of human expression through the art of film. Bea studied at <em>Vallladolid University </em>in Segovia, focusing on Advertisement, honing her visual talents. Upon graduation, Beatriz moved to New York City to pursue a career in filmmaking, studying under Paul Warner at the New York Film Academy. Her thesis film has gained special recognition in such festivals as Idylewild Film Festival. Beatriz is currently completing an MFA in Filmmaking in Los Angeles, directing her own short film, that talks about the struggles of an elderly community.</p>
