An urban farm entrepreneur in the Cully neighborhood of northeast Portland

I started farming on a small scale in 2011, raising chickens and vegetables in my backyard in northeast Portland for personal use. Since then my fascination has only grown. I'm worked on a number of farms since then, in both Oregon and California, as a poultry manager and a field manager, among other duties. I am driven by the classic homesteading dream-- to live off my own land and feed myself and my neighbors with it.
