Andrew Thomson

A percussionist and composer from an early age, Andrew enlisted into the U.S. Marine Corps as a musician and rifleman. Currently, he is a composition major at Ithaca College looking to graduate in 2012 with a BM. As a percussionist, he performs both as a solo artist (Marimba, percussion) and as a percussionist with The Band of America's Few, The Finger Lakes Pipe Band. He also plays bodhran and uilleann pipes with Damhsa Ceol Agus Craic, Ithaca College's Gaelic Arts Society. When not performing, he composes, both for motion pictures and ensembles.
