Writer, director, producer extraordinaire! :P
I'm just a guy who works in the entertainment industry in Britain. I first started as a song and lyric writer, at the peak of that working with R Kelly and D12 in the States. I then moved on to film soundtracks, got offerred cameos in certain films, and discovered I loved being on set and seeing how films are made. I've subsequently worked on well over 35 different feature films as well as many tv shows, music videos etc, in a very wide range of jobs, everything from director or lead actor down to runner or extra. The idea was to learn as much as possible about the process of making and releasing films and then going independent.<br><br>My main experience is helping write, produce, direct or edit low budget indie films. I've a good network of over 800 people from every film I've worked on, who I stay in regular contact with, so can (and regularly do) quickly pull together camera crews, sound & lighting guys, actors, extras, and everyone needed to make films. Together, we form Team Mates Films Ltd.<br><br>I personally have written and directed 5 feature films. The first one was an exercise in making a film for zero budget, the second in making one for 10 thousand. Both films have been picked up for DVD release in the UK & US. The other three are purposely around 50% finished, with higher budget's required to complete them, all the low budget parts shot, and the rest waiting to be funded and finished in the next year once the existing footage is edited together for showing to investors and distributors.<div><br></div><div>My main passion is for horror films and crime drama's, both with a political & social commentary leaning. We have two high concept scripts developed which we hope could change the world. These require a larger budget than we usually work with, so around two years ago we started to take film business courses and develop a plan to make them happen.</div><div><br></div><div>We decided to start with an intermediary film, a comparatively simple concept, but incredibly difficult to do "properly" - a remake of a classic film that we all know inside out and love to bits, "Night of the Living Dead". Coming at the film from a modern perspective, with new film making techniques, including a brand new type of 3D camera, we've tried our utmost to develop a script, storyboard, and cast that will do justice to the original film and hopefully open it up to a new generation of young horror fans. We expected resistance to such a project but over the last year have had tremendous support including several big name cast expressing an interest in being involved, including the amazing Gemma Atkinson (who recently starred in "Airborne" with Mark Hamill, "How to Stop Being a Loser" with Richard E Grant, "Boogie Woogie" with Gillian Anderson) who will be playing our "Barbra", and some stars from massive US tv shows making important cameos.<br></div><div><br></div><div>I hope at least some of you see and enjoy our films. We're just trying to entertain people the best way we know how.</div>
