Bridging the gap between classic soulful 80s pop and hard-hitting dance beats, The Visitors' sound is raw, glamorous and melodic, with a solid core of quality songwriting.</span><br /><br /><span>For The Visitors, pop music is more than a genre: it is a broad, stylistically ambiguous vehicle with the capacity to tackle vast and complex cultural, social and sexual themes. The band follows Wagner's edict of "Gesamtkunstwerk", a “total” work of art that incorporates many disciplines, drawing on film, dance and even mythology to create a rich storytelling experience that transcends traditional notions of popular music as entertainment. The duo tweaks standard ideas of duality – male/female, black/white, straight/gay – and envisions a party where everyone is welcome, where every person can shed their inhibitions and express their true selves.</span><br /><br /></strong></p>
