Chris Anthony

Los Angeles, California, United States

Writer/Director/Producer

Born in Los Angeles, California but rasied in Palmdale, CA. Main passion is filmmaking but
phototgraphy is a close second. I cannot imagine living without art as a means of expressing myself.

Some kind of camera has been in his hands since the age of ten, and that's not going to change anytime soon. "There's really not much to do in a small town in the desert. The only escape from the blistering heat and boredom was inside the labyrinth of my imagination, and my camera was the gateway to the infinite. "

Chris' other passions include mixed martial arts, and sports, but knew his calling was through story telling. While growing up and in high school, he made countless shorts with a shoe string budget, with friends, family members, neighbors, and classmates.

"What is most gratifying about creating a film is not only being on set and filming the actual production, but also the daunting, yet exciting journey that you and your team take. It is a truly humbling and joyous feeling when an idea is FINALLY born and given life, and your characters, who once only existed through the ink in a script, become living, breathing people standing in front of you with actual names, emotions, and thoughts. The new friends you make, the lessons you learn, and the unforgettable stories you walk away with make the journey that much sweeter."

Now based out of Los Angeles, Chris continues to create short films, music videos, and commercials. Most recently wrote and directed the successful short film Beneath the Ink.
