I've been making films in Memphis for over 10 years, some of which, people other than my mother have seen. Okay, to be fair, the ones I made specifically for my mother don't really count since the camera I used was really just a lunchbox wrapped in gaffer's tape with a shot-glass sticking out of the end to look like a lens. But there were other ones that I've received some acclaim and awards for but, truthfully, some of the best ones were the ones that I pretended to be filming with the afore mentioned shoebox. Pretend shoebox moviemaking with imaginary objects as actors... you don't get any more mumble-core than that!
